Bernhard Wicki (1919 – 2000) was not only an outstanding German director and actor, but, at the age of 50, also created an individual artistic style of photography. His photographs were taken on journeys through Germany, France, Italy, Bosnia, Morocco and Tunisia as well as at his home in Munich. Wicki focused primarily on people and their everyday activities and painted a haunting picture of the aftermath of the catastrophic events of World War II. This travelling exhibition of 40 images is coming from Prague and will travel to other countries afterwards.
