We the team of Swapner Shiri welcomes everyone who has interest in creative works. Anyone can visit our site and see a glimpse of the creative works of the talented people of Bangladesh. We always work hard to make your stay at the site as easy and comfortable as possible. To use all the services provided by us one has to register him/herself with Swapner Shiri which is a very easy process and takes a little of your time. Here are the guidelines to use Swapner Shiri to its full potentials, so that you can utilize all the services provided by it.
The first and the most important thing you should do are to register with Swapner Shiri to use all the services available. You can register yourself by a simple process, first click on the join now tab placed on the top right corner of the home page. After you click on join now the registration page will open and you have to fill the simple form on the page. In this form you have to provide a login name, email address and also set a password and re-type the password. Important thing you should remember you can't use space in the login name. At last you have to write the captcha (colorful words that are located at the end of the registration form) in order it's seen. Then click the submit button to finish the registration process.
Now you will be able to login to the site using the login name and password that you have provided while registering. After you logged in you can now set up your profile and showcase your creative works. Whenever you login to the site your profile page will open up first. You can set up your profile in this page and also can update your profile anytime you want. Your profile is categorized by four type of information which is - Basic info, Personal info, Education info and My Blog Posts. In basic info you can put your full name, surname, phone no. and address. Personal info contains - gender, birthday, about me, inspiration, interested in, my favorites, website, employer and position. In education info you can provide the name of your college and grade school. My blog post section will show all the blogs that you have posted in Swapner Shiri, so whenever you post a blog here it will show in this section. There isn't anything mandatory about your profile. You can set up your profile with the information you like share. But it's recommended that you set your profile with all the information to get better response from other users of Swapner Shiri. And most of all you can always update or change your profile anytime you like by logging in to the site and clicking the update profile button located in the profile home page.
After you finished setting up your profile, now you are fully ready to showcase your works to the world. To upload you need to have your works in the computer from where you like to upload to Swapner Shiri. Uploading your works in Swapner Shiri is very easy. Just login to your profile home page, there you will see a upload section on the top right hand corner. Select what category of work you want to upload and then hit the upload tab, then upload page will open up. Now show the path where your works are stored. You can provide some additional information about your works here like name of the work, background and media etc. now you are ready to upload, just hit the upload button; upload will start automatically. Uploading time may differ for the volume of the work and for the speed of the internet connection you have. One thing you should remember that the single file or media you want to upload shouldn't exceed 10MB, because you will not be able to upload a single file/media exceeding 10MB.
Here some important additional information about uploading in the category of writing is mentioned, as many may find it little difficult to understand. In writing, you can write directly or also can upload from your PC. By selecting writing in the upload section in the profile home page (as mentioned above), you can enter to the writing upload page. There you will see two options: - 1. Write my story here, 2. Upload my story. By selecting the first option you can directly write into the site and press save button to upload in the site. In this way presently you can just write in English not in Bengali, but you can copy you writing in Bengali from your PC and paste here. We are working hard to enable Bengali writing in this section and we will notify you when you enable this option here. There is no limitation of words here, so you can write as long as you want. And now by selecting 'upload my story' option you can upload you writings from your PC. In this way, you can upload word, text and pdf documents and the documents size must be within 2MB or else you will not be able to upload.
You can also post blogs by logging in and clicking the blog tab. In blog page you will be able to write blogs both in English and Bengali. But you can't upload or copy-paste anything here. Besides these, you can see what is happening in the creative world of Bangladesh in the news section and can also see the upcoming events in the event section.
When you log in you will see a tab called My Diary just below your profile picture. In this section you can write your daily experiences, memories and special moments. It's a confidential section and except you nobody can view this section. That's why it's the perfect place to write down your private thoughts, fantasies, special events etc.
These are more or less everything in where you should know to use the services completely. Other than these sections you will be able to use them by yourself without any assistance.
